The Stevie Savage Interview
Saturday Feb 04, 2017
Saturday Feb 04, 2017
We're pleased to have guitarist, composer, dog lover and great friend Stevie Savage in the studio. He's worked with Alien Sex Fiend, Danielle Dax and The Roadholders as well as being a music director for an international side project of Sparks. We discuss Siouxie Sioux's coffee making ability, the occasional allure of whole milk, the legacy of the Chorus Pedal, the sonic properties of silver doilies and witnessing Nancy Spungen's fighting ability first hand.

Pippa Evans Interview
Friday Jan 13, 2017
Friday Jan 13, 2017
We've got the multi-talented force of nature that is Pippa Evans in the studio this week. She has appeared on BBC's 'The Now Show', upstaged the stars on Comedy Central UK's 'Drunken History', earned an Olivier Award for 'Showstopper!' and her show at Edinburgh Fringe 2016, 'Same Same But Different', was a Tour de Force and a highlight of the festival for Team TDRS. In addition, Irene summons her inner music hall diva via a diversion on Grindr and Dukey, Marsha & Sylvia contemplate the prospect of cloning......Pippa Evans.

Write, said Fred - Part 1
Monday Jan 09, 2017
Monday Jan 09, 2017
This is the first episode of The Dukey Radio Show to come with a health warning (from Irene). Despite the title, this instalment has nothing to do with either 'The Goon Show' or a certain band from the early 1990s who were too sexy for their shirts. But it does contain an impressive quantity of expletives that are delivered in a tone that's best described as 'razor sharp'.
Our very own Marsha has recently joined a writing club and things haven't gone to plan. But, with Sylvia along for support, the trio manage to invent a new collective noun for musicians while exploring the shambolic shenanigans of Ms. MacDonald's club.

The Heat Is Off
Friday Dec 23, 2016
Friday Dec 23, 2016
Dukey, Sylvia, Marsha and Irene quite literally break down 2016 via all the things they've had to get fixed.
It's been an advent calendar of an astonishing range of products going on the blink at TDRS-HQ. Including our boiler (hence the title of this episode). We may be cold but we're decidedly bold and full of banter.

Yoghurt, a Cock Ring & Bob's Balls
Monday Nov 21, 2016
Monday Nov 21, 2016
The title of this episode may appear to be a bit rude at face value. But one should never put too much value on faces. Ok, some aspects of this podcast may be a bit rude. But, as you've read this far without being (overly) offended - this instalment of The Dukey Radio Show may still be fore you.
While Sylvia Silversmith was working in deepest Birmingham, Marsha MacDonald and Dukey decided to leave London in favour the English coast. Brighton to be precise. Their short trip predominantly served as a respite from the recent election results from the other side of the pond and all the fallout related to it. You see, the Rotarians of Tacoma Washington voted earlier this month to elect a new Grand Poobah and it all went a bit pear shaped.
The trio have been reunited in the capital and Dukey, Sylvia and Marsha explore:
- the artistic legacy of a potential "transitional tagger" from Brighton named Yoghurt
- how Dukey's dog might be an arsehole
- the strange, tearful and decidedly unpredictable behaviour of rural dog kennel employees in East Sussex
- how a new Brightonian attraction resembles a cock ring (and how it became a catalyst for Dukey being felt up by a drunken local)
- the mouth span of a local South Coast hero named Bob and his impressive ability hold large balls effortlessly with his lips

John Hastings Interview
Sunday Nov 06, 2016
Sunday Nov 06, 2016
Comedian John Hastings pops into The Dukey Radio Show studios and chats about:
- Avril Lavigne pilgrimages.
- Locals going feral in Wales.
- Being temporarily vegan but missing chicken.
- Festival BMs (unrelated).
- Dyspraxia.
- 'Great British Bake Off' v Brexit.
- Dealing with hecklers' mistresses and how he was once "young, dumb and full of McDonalds" (he's now young, decidedly intelligent and full of spinach).
- How Milton Keynes is the "drag queen version of an American suburb".

In addition:
- Irene sings some Motley Crue and extolls her intense love for our special guest. If she was 70 years younger....
- Sylvia discusses her penchant for anti-social smoking, a newly found dislike of windowless pods and what it's like to eat burritos in Room 101.
- Marsha Waxes lyrical about fine wines and bad coffees in Canada.

Totes Bag My Goats
Sunday Oct 30, 2016
Sunday Oct 30, 2016
The Dukey Radio Show is back.
With baggage.
Tote bag baggage.
Strangely themed tote bag baggage.
Inappropriate and strangely themed tote bag baggage.
Inappropriate and strangely themed tote bag baggage with royal connections.
And this Stewart Lee-esque build up is in aid of this instalment's title - 'Totes Bag My Goats'.
We're having bags of banter. About bags. Anne Frank bags. Funeral bags. And emotional baggage. In addition, Dukey reveals how being a "Bag Man" helped him to bond with his fellow Londoners.

Milo McCabe Interview - The genius behind Troy Hawke
Friday Oct 14, 2016
Friday Oct 14, 2016
Milo McCabe, the comedic genius behind 'The Unflappable Troy Hawke', is interviewed in this special instalment of 'The Dukey Radio Show'. When TDRS were at Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August of this year, McCabe's depiction of a home-schooled 1930s Errol Flynn styled dandy who is juxtaposed against modern day London was an undoubted highlight for us. And to say we're honoured to have Milo on the show would be an understatement.
The pair chat about everything from Keith Moon to C*nt Insurance including:
- Milo's stint as a drummer for indie rock legend Tim Booth
- How the pain of a spinal tap compares with body waxing
- Troy Hawke's gestation as a character
- The Meisner Method
- Having a professional comedian father
- How being a trained psychotherapist has impacted on his life/career
- The benefits of being part of the Free Fringe at Edinburgh
- Being the only comedian to actually lose weight at The Fringe
In addition, Irene manages to hit a very 'special note'. And, as a result, listeners are advised to keep an eye on their pets while listening to this episode.

Back on the Wagon?
Tuesday Oct 04, 2016
Tuesday Oct 04, 2016
After the recent 'fob' stories on TDRS, we're pleased to report that the wagon is back. Life is back to normal. Or normal-ish. And due to heightened stress levels, however, Dukey and the gang may need to get back on a different kind of wagon.
